The reality of living and thriving with Cystic Fibrosis: “It takes a village to raise a child”…
Family Burger were not able to collect medication themselves on behalf of their son with Cystic Fibrosis due to work responsibilities and the expensive costs of flying to Buonos Aires for only one patient.
The cheapest flights were R36 000 and 13 days away from home. Other flights with a shorter stay were R15 000 more expensive. Who can afford to take off 14 days twice a year to collect medication for your child? This is a huge burden for families due to Trikafta not being available in South Africa.
According to Mr Burger, “Trixacar is a life saving medication” that every patient should have access to”.
Thank you for trusting Breathtaking Fundraising Npc to collect the medication for you in Buenos Aires. May your son be blessed with the best of 2023!!!
We would love to support more families and patients in a similar way!
